Summer Pop-Up Event
Summer Pop-Up Event Recap
What a fantastic day we had last week at our pop-up event! It was truly a fun-filled community day in the South End, and we're still buzzing from the energy and excitement.
The afternoon was a highlight, with a lively children's concert led by the wonderful Matt Heaton that had everyone tapping their feet. Throughout the day, kids (and some adults!) got creative at our children's craft station. We were also thrilled to have Big Brothers Big Sisters and the Community Music Center of Boston join us, sharing their amazing work with the community.
The turnout was incredible, with a total of 253 individuals engaging with us. Everyone enjoyed picking out free books to keep, grabbing some tasty snacks, and taking home all sorts of fun swag. By the end of the day, the sentiment was clear: people were calling it the "South End community day"! One attendee even left us with this heartwarming feedback: "This was a pleasant surprise! This was the highlight of my day. I can't wait for the next one."
We're so grateful to everyone who came out and made the day such a memorable success. We can't wait to do it again! Keep an eye out for details on our next pop-up event this September.
