CURRENT LIBRARY ACTIVITIES

Despite our South End Library’s closure, our Librarian, Christina Jones and Children’s Librarian Margaret Gardner, continue to provide a limited selection of programs. Christina facilitates a South End book group called Scoop at FOMU on Tremont Street and Margaret offers a weekly Morning Story Time for babies, preschoolers, and their caregivers in Library Park, weather permitting. She also hosts Little Groove seasonal music events for kids.

With support from BPL’s central library staff, Our Librarians also host Popup events at Library Park from time to time throughout the year. When these are offered, South Enders can come for coffee, snack, conversation, and free books.
